General Job Description:

Performs functions related to the opening and closing of the Store and cash register processes. Complies with all procedures related to the operation of the Stores and appropriately handles the tasks assigned to him/her.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Comply with the work plan defined by the Manager and ensure that employees are notified of the tasks they have to perform, in the absence of the Manager and the Assistant.

· Carry out the opening and/or closing process of the store in the absence of the Manager or Assistant, following the established processes.

· Inform the Manager of any difference in less or surplus in any of the cash registers.

· Reconcile the Petty Cash and the cash registers following the established procedure and frequency. Inform the Manager of any difference in the amount of less or surplus, whether in the Petty Cash or any Cash Register.

· Carry out any managerial tasks that may arise at the cash registers.

· Provide service to customers.

· Keep the store organized, clean and stocked at all times.

· Perform all store functions such as: cash register, floor, merchandise receipt, shelf assembly, stocking merchandise, marking, among others.

· Notify the Manager and Area Supervisor of any situation that occurs while in charge of the store. Take the actions instructed to handle each situation.

Requirements:

Fourth year of High School. Minimum of six (6) months of experience working as a Cashier and Floor Clerk.

Physical Conditions:

Moderately physically active work that may require moving through and outside the store and standing, sitting, walking, bending, and climbing stairs. Work is generally performed in air conditioning. Work requires occasional lifting of up to thirty (30) pounds. Hand-eye coordination and visual acuity are required.
